Christian leaders pledge to back post-Covid recovery

On Monday 22nd February, Director Gordon Preece represented Ethos as part of a broad alliance of Christian organisations that delivered a letter to Prime Minister Scott Morrison, expressing their willingness to partner with the government to help Australia recover from the COVID-19 recession. The delegation also met with the Opposition Leader, Anthony Albanese, and a range of relevant Ministers and Shadow Ministers.

As CEO of Mission Australia, James Toomey, said, Christian groups will play an important role in supporting the unemployed and the homeless and we vow to do all in our power to equip our fellow Australians with opportunities to flourish.
